Ingredients

4 eggs

2 cups of sugar

3 cups of wheat flour

1 cup of milk

1/2 cup oil (or 100g melted butter)

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional)

Preparation mode
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Grease a mold with butter and wheat flour. Book.
- In a bowl, sift the wheat flour, baking powder and salt. Book.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy. You can use a mixer to make this process easier.
- Add the oil (or melted butter) and vanilla essence (if using) to the egg and sugar mixture. Beat until well incorporated.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the egg cream, alternating with the milk. Start and end with the flour, mixing gently with a spatula or mixer on low speed until the dough is smooth.
- Transfer the dough to the previously greased and floured pan.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 35 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes before unmolding. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
