Ingredients

  • 500g sour cassava starch

  • 1 cup (tea) of vegetable oil

  • 1 cup (tea) of milk

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of water

  • 1 tablespoon of salt

  • 3 eggs

Preparation mode

  • Heat the oven to 180°C.
  • Place the sour cassava starch in a large bowl.
  • In a saucepan, heat the oil, milk, water and salt until it starts to boil.
  • Pour the hot mixture over the cassava starch, stirring well with a wooden spoon until a dough forms.
  • Let the dough cool a little so you can handle it with your hands.
  • Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well until the dough is smooth and homogeneous.
  • Place the dough in a piping bag or plastic bag with the tip cut off.
  • Shape the cookies into “S,” “O” or stick shapes directly on a baking sheet. There is no need to grease the baking sheet.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden and dry.
  • Remove cookies from oven and let cool completely on baking sheet before serving.
