Cassava dumplings are very simple and easy to make. Check out the list of necessary ingredients and follow the instructions below:
Ingredients

500g of cassava (manioc or manioc)

1 tablespoon butter

1 ovo

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste

Chopped parsley to taste

Wheat flour (enough to make the dough)

Oil for frying

Cheese (mozzarella or other cheese of your choice) in cubes

Ground beef, shredded chicken or other filling of your choice
Preparation mode
- Peel the cassava and cut into pieces. Cook in water with a pinch of salt until soft. Drain the water and mash the cassava while it is still hot until it forms a puree.
- Add the butter to the still hot cassava puree and mix well. Let it cool a little.
- Add the egg, grated parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper and chopped parsley. Mix everything until you get a smooth dough. If necessary, add wheat flour little by little until the dough comes away from your hands.
- Take small portions of the dough and make small balls. If desired, fill them with a cube of cheese or another filling option. Close the balls well so that the filling does not escape during frying.
- Heat the oil in a deep pan. When it is hot, fry the dumplings until golden brown. Remove and drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve the cassava dumplings hot, accompanied by your favorite sauces.
