1 baguette or French bread (from the day before, to make it firmer)

3 large eggs

1 cup of milk

1/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Butter or cooking spray, for greasing
Preparation mode
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a large baking sheet with butter or cooking spray.
- Cut the baguette or French bread into slices about 2 cm thick and arrange the slices on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon until smooth.
- Dip each slice of bread into the liquid mixture, ensuring that they are well soaked but not soaked. Let the excess drip off.
- Arrange the soaked bread slices on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 to 25 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and serve warm. You can sprinkle more sugar and cinnamon on top if desired. Serve with honey, jam, or fresh fruit if desired.
