The sixth meeting of the China-EU High-Level People-to-People Dialogue was held in Beijing last week, in which China and the European Union (EU) agreed to promote people-to-people exchanges and practical cooperation.
Chinese State Councilor Shen Yiqin maintained dialogue with Iliana Ivanova, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth.
Shen said China and the EU should implement the important consensus reached by leaders of both sides and work within the framework of the high-level dialogue mechanism to facilitate personnel exchanges and improve exchanges and cooperation in education, science and technology, culture, social media, sports, youth and women, boosting the comprehensive strategic partnership.
Ivanova said the EU is willing to work with China to achieve more results in people-to-people exchanges and practical cooperation.
