Steadfast in the belief that communities can become more enabled through employment and support for individuals who lack opportunity, Rebecca actively tries to make a difference through her social enterprise, Mei’s Own. Retailing handmade apparel and accessories, all net profits made are channelled towards providing survivors of human trafficking in the Philippines with skills training and employment. The scion, whose family owns traditional Chinese medicine company Eu Yan Sang, also made her international society debut at the 2013 Bal des Débutantes in Paris.Â
